Well at least Dayton will remain as a First Four host. Will be 6 games at Dayton over 2 days instead of 4 games. Hopefully the added teams are at-large bids and not automatic qualifiers, which is what @PeteThamel is saying as of now.

The Flyers should have won more games. They should have had more success in the A-10. Should have more visits to the Tournament. It's True! BEFORE NIL. So now that the Game has changed why should Grant remain as coach? For the very reasons we are seeing these past few weeks!

@tmantheoriginal Well, you can certainly tell the program is spending some money. Now is the time to use the arena money to put some distance between Dayton and the rest of the A-10. We have a competitive advantage - it’s nice to see them using it.

Can never get too hung up on recruiting rankings.
That being said, if you told me 2 weeks ago that Dayton would be #20 in overall recruiting/transfers, I'd say you're crazy. But here we are

@Charles_James1 VCU is getting it done. They had a good team. Good season. Hours before the field was announced they were heading to the NIT. The A10 was a one bid league had SLU won. Had they lost to Dayton or SLU won, the committee had decided their season did not warrant an at-large. Crazy...

I have 15+yrs worth of data in order to make an argument for why Dayton's ceiling is low under AG, but yes tell us all again how we're all "deranged" b/c we expect Dayton to get in the NCAAT more often

I’ll hold off judgement until I see the rest of Dayton’s roster but as of now, I don’t see the vision of Haynes and Letang playing together nor do I have a lot of faith Grant can figure that out

Jalen Haynes back in the A-10 after dominating at George Mason two seasons ago. Curious to see the fit with Haynes and Amael L’Etang. L’Etang is versatile enough to play the four. Don’t think Haynes should really play the four. L’Etang is the better option since he can shoot. Either way, should be a terrific front court for Anthony Grant. Great day bringing in Haynes and Travis Perry.

@808_flyer By all accounts? If your give the guy credit for ALL OUR recruits (ridiculous) and this so-called relationship building (AG) yet you think this team is very poorly coached and as he's one of the coaches, how is he exempt? So, he's responsible for all the good and none of the bad.

@parlaypyle I'm not trying to piss on anyone's parade. This highest rating of all time thing? I'm not sure how far this goes back but UD won more games than any other program during the 1950-60's in all of CBB. The did so by landing some of the greatest high school talent in the country.
