@VerizonSupport ...How do I found out if there is an outage in my area? I have dsl and have reset my modem numerous times.

@VerizonSupport That did it! I can't believe I didn't think of doing that earlier. Now I know (Until we get our new Fios) to try that if simply powering off doesn't work.

@VerizonSupport Yes. It tries to connect and then I get the exclamation mark type icon that shows it isn't connected.

@VerizonSupport Connectivity. The internet light will not go on on my modem. I have rebooted multiple times. This has happened before, and when reboot doesn't work, it has always been an issue in the area. Maybe this is different this time, but I'm going to wait awhile.
