Growing up in the American south & seeing the utter decimation this one vine can do leaves such a huge impact on you. It’s like wow. A guy in the 1940s destroyed America’s ecology bc he thought it looked pretty & thought it would help stop erosion. Now there’s no going back.

The same name and description was tied to an explosion in Texas and UNLV shooting a couple months ago.

From this morning's KCPD press conference on the parade shooting: - No connection to “terrorism” or “homegrown violent extremism.” The incident appears to have been a dispute between several people that ended in gunfire. - The 22 victims range between 8 and 47 years old, including DJ Lisa Lopez-Galvan, who passed at age 43. - At least half of the victims are under the age of 16. - Subjects have been detained, including two juveniles. - The police have recovered several firearms. - There was only one location tied to the shooting.

Latest on fluid USFL-XFL from source. Looks like 12 teams w/ 2-team hubs, 4 XFL teams departing (ORL, LV, SEA, HOUS). Meetings this week to hopefully finalize with announcement anytime prior to Thanksgiving. Some other cities could change. Goal is to have owners in 2025.
