Thomas Massie chose to end his career with this despicable line about Congressman-elect Ed Gallrein: “I had to find him in Tel Aviv.” Rather than exit with dignity, Massie just proved President Trump was right to send him into early retirement.

@SolvingJfk @timgproject Love and appreciate the hard work and great programming/episodes u have produced Matt. Bart’s work/book are very compelling. Prayerman may be the single greatest question remaining n JFK lore. If the image is LHO, then history needs to be rewritten—at a minimum

A new bonus episode is out today with Bart Kamp. Bart came on Solving JFK to talk about Prayer Man, the figure standing in the doorway of the Texas School Book Depository while JFK was being shot. Bart has spent over a decade arguing that figure is Lee Harvey Oswald, which would mean Oswald was not on the sixth floor with a rifle. We also tear into the second floor lunchroom encounter with Officer Marrion Baker and ask whether it ever actually happened. James Hosty's interrogation notes have Oswald saying he went outside to watch the parade. Ochus Campbell told the New York Herald Tribune the next morning that he saw Oswald in a storage room on the first floor right after the shots. Baker's own first day affidavit doesn't mention the second floor at all. There is a lot to think about in this episode.

I am a Kentucky 04 voter. Nelson County. Just casted my vote for @EdGallrein and proud to do so! Mostly older people my age (55+) were voting this afternoon. I pray this is a good sign for Ed. Massie has done enough damage with HIS agenda. I want Ed there to support Trump!

@FantasyGalaxies Huge SW fan here but respectfully disagree with this take. I felt the whole jar jar binks/ phantom menace (absent the darth maul fight) was the worst of the entire series. JMO

Just a friendly warning. We don’t even make $200k per year in Congress despite working nearly 140 days. If we aren’t properly compensated, a lot of us will go to the private sector and you will be left with some real idiots in Congress.

Tyran Stokes announcing his commitment tonight will be interesting for a variety of reasons: - Kentucky assistant Mo Williams is currently in Atlanta. - Jamal Crawford won't calling a game because the Thunder swept the Phoenix Suns. - Shaquille O'Neals daughter committed to the Kentucky Women's Basketball team yesterday. - Charles Barkley always has positive things to say about Kentucky and likes them. - Nike has been the official apparel deal with the NBA since 2017. Bring it home. 🙏

@MAGAMAHACindy U r also taxed on unrealized capital gains on your stock portfolio

Cindy K@MAGAMAHACindy·
Hypothetically…….. We are being taxed on money we never made. Let that sink in. If I bought my property outright for $160,000 in 2009 Now the county says it’s worth $446,000. Did I sell it? No. Did I make a profit? No. Did I get a check for $446,000? No. But my taxes jumped like I did. That’s the problem. This isn’t income. This isn’t cash. This is a number someone decided on paper and now I’m being billed for it. If my stock portfolio doubles, I don’t pay taxes until I sell. If my income doesn’t increase, I don’t magically owe more income tax. So why does owning a home work differently? Why am I being taxed on unrealized gains? A house isn’t just an investment, it’s where people live. And this system means you can do everything right, pay off your home, and still get squeezed harder every year because of a number you never turned into money. You don’t truly own something if you can be taxed out of it. This isn’t about “services” or “inflation.” It’s about being charged for value you never received. It’s time people start to notice.

Not enough people know Katherine Gun.
Artur Nadolny@ArturNadol7566

SHE LEAKED THE MEMO THAT COULD HAVE STOPPED THE IRAQ WAR. In January 2003, Katharine Gun was a Mandarin translator at GCHQ, Britain's signals intelligence agency. She showed up to work one morning, opened her email, and found a memo that would destroy her career, threaten her marriage, and land her in court facing two years in prison. The email was from Frank Koza, chief of staff at the NSA's regional targets division, asking GCHQ to help spy on the private communications of six UN Security Council nations whose votes would determine whether the world approved an invasion of Iraq. The goal was to gather intelligence that would give US policymakers leverage over smaller nations. Angola. Cameroon. Chile. Guinea. Pakistan. Bulgaria. Countries with no dog in this fight, being bugged so Washington and London could fix the result. Gun printed the email, slipped it into her handbag, and eventually passed it to a journalist. In March 2003 the memo was published by The Observer, creating a media firestorm and raising serious questions about the legality of the Iraq War. Then they came for her. She was charged under Section 1 of the Official Secrets Act in November 2003. She refused to plead guilty. Her legal team decided the best defence was to prove that the war itself was illegal, and demanded the government hand over its own legal advice to Tony Blair. And here is the part that tells you everything you need to know about how power actually works. The case came to court on 25 February 2004. Within half an hour it was dropped. The prosecution offered no evidence. In May 2019 The Guardian reported the case was dropped because the prosecution realised that evidence would emerge showing that even British government lawyers believed the invasion was unlawful. The government could not prosecute the whistleblower without putting the war on trial. So they quietly walked out of court and hoped everyone would forget. Daniel Ellsberg, who leaked the Pentagon Papers, called Gun's action the most important and courageous leak he had ever seen. Three UK inquiries into the Iraq War never once examined her case.
