@ConorReddy95 @EoghanOCPBP Irish politics has hit the gutter. Voting Social Democrats = more loony left policies 33k+ in IPAS accommodation amid a brutal housing crisis, open-door pressures from high asylum inflows, and gender ideology that can’t define what a woman is. Prioritise Irish citizens first.

Brilliant result for @EoghanOCPBP 6.8% after polls had us on 3% Pundits wrote us off+ we were excluded from debates but our campaign pushed on, driven by people-power politics, organising on council rents+ for a hopeful vision of a city we can live in. Onwards! 💪

@JayMcdz52850 Electing the Social Democrats in Dublin Central shows a worrying lack of political awareness. Their policies will only flood Ireland with more IPAs and asylum seekers on top of the housing crisis. Air time and soundbites beat substance again. Time to wake up.

The Taoiseach’s decision to exclude services from the Occupied Territories Bill is unacceptable. Nearly 70% of Ireland’s trade with the occupied territories is in services. So Micheál Martin seeks to weaken the intent of the Bill. We won’t stand for it. Israel must be sanctioned. We need the Occupied Territories Bill passed and it must include services!

So frustrating to think that Ireland passed an Occupied Territories Bill in 2016 and the Irish Government have delayed enacting. Ireland could have been leaders in this space like we led on anti apartheid in South Africa. #OTB #BDS

The Dutch government has just approved import ban on goods from illegal Israeli settlements. Third EU government after Spain and Slovenia. Some more underway. The ICJ made clear this is a legal obligation for all states under international law. nu.nl/politiek/63967…

@desondy Agreed. A man died needlessly end of . I don’t condone the loony far left or far right using his death as a weapon to push their agendas. Absolutely sickening to see that happening.

What has unsettled so many people about the death of Yves Sakila is not only that a man lost his life in Ireland, but how quickly some rushed to dehumanise him afterwards. Empathy should not depend on someone’s race, nationality or immigration status. Not in Ireland. Not anywhere

@Default69202648 Ireland is not rightly proud of a wreckless act that could have endangered lives and cost the state money due to wreckless activist . A pure and utter publicity stunt for loony lefties .

@garysdunne @MaryLouMcDonald Comparing apples and oranges a different time and place and the fact is Israel more important to the US than Ireland is . Saving lives isn’t going to pay mortgages and bills and putting food on the plate for many . Plenty of ways other ways than self harm to our economy .

@truthinthemiddl @MaryLouMcDonald Ireland led the charge with BDS against apartheid in South Africa, numerous countries then followed suit... and it worked ! It can also work for Israel. Also - It's much better to say "I helped save lives" than to say "I preferred to save my job"... there are always other jobs.

@garysdunne @MaryLouMcDonald Gary the only people who will suffer more is the Irish people than the Israelis by taking such action . Jobs will be lost that is a FACT and so will our international reputation with the US . It would be economic self sabotage.

@truthinthemiddl @MaryLouMcDonald To do nothing would be immoral. But merely "condemning" their actions is pointless because they just don't care. The only way to make them think twice about their actions is to hit them where it really hurts, in their pockets ! ... once it passes then more countries will follow !

Absolutely shameful that FFFGLL voted against sanctioning the terrorist state! The genocide of Palestinians was not enough for them. The illegal capturing and detention of Irish citizens was not enough for them. What will it take for this government to finally stand up to the rogue and genocidal state of Israel?

Carol likes to talk about stuff like this to cover the fact she’s with the government when it really counts. Like yesterday evening, when she voted against sanctioning a state that is committing genocide and that kidnapped several Irish citizens from international waters.

🔴Last night I called out Government for prioritising asylum seekers over Irish citizens when it comes to housing many of whom are bogus and have come in to our country with no ID or papers.. having destroyed their passports and having brazenly come from safe countries
