Mom would have been 94 today, but she never would have admitted it! It’s a strange day for us, because we should be with her, laughing, arguing, singing, and celebrating her. We miss her terribly but smile when we think of her. We loved her—even more than we could have ever realized before.
As the most awarded woman in country music, her life was a gift to the genre and the fans. She’s worth celebrating. The day she was born was a great day for the music we love! We hope you crank it up all day long! Happy Birthday, Mom!
