Such cowardly acts of terrorism cannot weaken the resolve of the people of Pakistan. We remain steadfast in our determination to eliminate terrorism in all its forms and manifestations. I express my heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims and pray for the swift recovery of the injured. The entire nation stands in solidarity with the people of Balochistan in this hour of grief.

BREAKING Top officials from Pakistan and Qatar will hold what appears to be a decisive meeting with the Iranian leadership to finalise the interim agreement. The Iranian side has already named its negotiating team. It is expected that US officials may join the Tehran talks virtually, although it is not yet confirmed whether the US side will speak directly with Iranian officials or only through Pakistani and Qatari interlocutors. Meanwhile, if the terms of the deal are agreed upon, simultaneous joint statements may be issued in both Tehran and Washington.

Iran-US "interim deal" on the cards The Pakistan Army Chief is now on way to Tehran, according to IRNA. The Field Marshal was on standby since yesterday, waiting for the green signal. Since, he has now departed for Tehran, one can safely say that a potentional "interim deal" may be within reach. While the interior minister was busy in Tehran meeting Iranian officials, some important meetings also took place in Islamabad during the last 24 hours.

The recent matter involving a PML-N Member of the Provincial Assembly and a prominent media personality is a personal issue and will be addressed strictly on merit and in accordance with the law, however, I want to make it absolutely clear that I will not spare anyone found involved in attempting to harass, threaten, or exploit a woman. State institutions will perform their duties independently, impartially, and in accordance with the Constitution and the law. Any attempt to exert political pressure, abuse influence, or exploit a woman through threats of releasing personal content publicly will be met with firm and uncompromising action. I sincerely appreciate the humanitarian and benevolent action of the esteemed Government of Pakistan to pursue the release of 20 Iranian sailors who were in a precarious situation due to the seizure of their ship in Singapore waters. In this regard, I would like to thank the tireless efforts of Honorable Prime Minister H.E. Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, especially H.E. Mr. Ishaq Dar, Honorable Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, and other relevant agencies. These sailors were transferred from Singapore to Islamabad following diplomatic efforts and returned to their beloved homeland a few hours ago.
