But there's ONE more move after the IPO that makes his plan complete: Elon's 2025 Tesla pay package gave him 423 million shares tied to performance targets that could take a decade to hit. - Robotaxis at scale - Optimus mass production - $400 billion in EBITDA Stuff that might never happen. Except there's a clause in the SEC filing that makes all of that irrelevant: If Tesla gets acquired, every single milestone disappears and all 423 million shares vest on the spot. ONE transaction and the entire award unlocks instantly. Now ask yourself what happens if a $1.75 trillion SpaceX buys Tesla after the IPO... Elon gets the SpaceX stake, the IPO capital, and every Tesla share vesting at once through a deal he controls on both sides. So the full plan is: Destabilize OpenAI in court, run the biggest IPO in history, use SpaceX to acquire Tesla, trigger the clause, vest everything, and become a trillionaire. You see this also in the comments on some of my posts: "I'm always happy to pay the high prices in Switzerland", "quality is always very high". While it's true in a lot of cases (build quality, avg school/hospital, avg level of education etc), it's not true across the board. Some things, like what I mentioned earlier today with the prices of going/eating out, or dentist costs, are just insanely overpriced for no reason other than CHF being strong and Mcdonald's workers making 4k CHF per month. Others are good quality. Healthcare and education, are some of the ones that are high quality, but that's not always the case/experience. That's why nuances are important and why I dislike and try to avoid B&W, simplistic statements here on X. Regarding what mentioned above, does any of you have direct exp with Swiss healthcare (good or bad)? Would be interesting to gather more data, even if anecdotal!

Un amigo emprendedor norteamericano, me dijo que mandó una nota a sus empleados diciéndole que los que no usen inteligencia artificial podían perder su trabajo. En Estados Unidos. Los sueldos son el triple que en España, pero si te despiden no hay indemnización. Le cuento esto a un amigo, arquitecto español y me dijo “vaya hijo de puta el norteamericano”. Mi reflexión es que hoy en día todo el mundo puede usar la inteligencia artificial y además que la paga la empresa. Pedirle a tus empleados que usen inteligencia artificial es algo totalmente normal. Esta conversación me hizo pensar en cómo España tiene muchas personas con una enorme resistencia a la modernidad. Este grupo de gente antes estaban en la derecha pero ahora están en la izquierda a donde pertenece mi amigo arquitecto.

Getting rid of the rich has been tried many times before and it only made the poor poorer. Case in point Switzerland. It has the richest people in the world and the richest poor people in the world. Minimum wage is $5600 a month working low hours and with many benefits and free healthcare.
