@Aswathi_krishn As I said before, in a season where every other top team has played as poorly as they have in a decade Corner FC still struggles to get it over the line
Disappointment aside, I really wonder who these ppl are who keep saying we're playing poorly only now. We've been playing badly for the better part of the season. Here I was trying to turn our fate by not ranting for a couple of games. Nope. Nothing works!
@Aswathi_krishn Hahahahaaaa... you should be happy that every other team in EPL has been having the worst season ever which lets you guys sit on top know the table.. else you'd probably be out of the top 4(8?)
We play a decent ten mins and that's too much for the universe to take. For all the talking that Rice does, would do well to use his brains and just clear the damn ball when it has to be... The most frustrating thing in the world is being an arsenal fan.
@muglikar_ There isn't a rationale but the principle is that the stamp duty is not on the transaction but on the 'instrument of transfer' i.e. the document. State levies it for authenticating the legality of the doc and for enforceability. The amount payable is simply the need of the state
What is the logic of stamp duty on property? Why should anyone pay so much to sarkar for some transaction between two parties?
Assume that stamp duty is like value capture tax on the property then tax also has to be on value added and not on entire consideration.
Assume Mr. A buys a flat from B for 1 cr then he ends up paying 6% as stamp duty.
Then later if he sells it to C for 1.25 cr then C also pays stamp duty on 1.25 and not on value added i.e. 25 lacs.
Now I am assuming this value of 25 lacs for added to property value due to new road, or metro or some public spend hence the stamp duty is justified. Fair enough so why is the same amount getting taxed twice? Isn't this unfair. Shouldn't the tax on transaction 2 be only on value added?
This post is for my own understanding and thought process. Serious views are welcome.
I don't like djokovic. That said, I've no doubt in my mind that prime djokovic would have won today. Time has caught up but his desire, drive & ability to compete with players half his age is remarkable. He is the only one standing between a sincaraz final every slam. Salute
I hate playing Emery's teams. Wind off our sails. Same old same old. Injuries, can't see games off, fatigue, yada yada yada... Just feeling sad for these guys at this point. We don't ever seem to cope. Just hope the players aren't as deflated as me.
What makes it worse is that in a couple of weeks all will be changa si again.. cos we have no real options.. no one cares about the customer n frankly we don't deserve it cos the only outrage is in the here and the now.. there are no long term repercussions for service providers
Amazing how such a predictable catastrophic failure was simply ignored by India's largest airline.. why? Cos they knew that a few days of utter chaos would bring the authorities to their knees and the airline would get the reprieve they expected.. only the consumer suffers
@Aswathi_krishn Hey if he did with Chelsea what he's doing with the Gunners he'd never have been given away... he didn't seem anywhere near as dangerous during his time with Chelsea
Excellent game. All the new signings coming through with flying colours! I'll gladly change my view on Madeueke if he keeps playing this way. And how much did we pay for Mosquera? What an addition!
One of the finest works of Geeta dutt. This song from Anubhav is also one of her last songs. It's rumoured that she came from the hospital to sing this song and it was recorded in an hour. Music Kanu Roy. Evocative lyrics by Gulzar. The presence of Tanuja adds weight to
Contd..
@Wimbledon this is a great final... but please you've got to distinguish the greatest slam from the others.. if this surface were presented to Marcelos Rios and Thomas Muster we'd probably never see the Sampras and Federer era.. we'd certainly not have seen the mercurial Goran..
