This is utter bs. If there’s an argument to be made here, it’s about the discrimination faced by Dalits and we are part of all religions, experiencing discrimination within every society. There’s no argument to be made about specifically ignoring “Buddhist struggles”.

Lord Krishna might’ve possibly been an earlier prophet of Islam sent to Indic people, who was later deified by his followers, the same way Jesus, according to Islam.

Due the recent controversy on the IVC seal, I went in search for any descriptive evidences available in ancient Tamil literatures and to my surprise the closest match was found in Silappathikaram. But it came as a big surprise and completely opposite to what the general consensus is. The IVC seal figure matches more closely with mother goddess (Kottravai) than the supposed Pasupati. The below passage of Silappathikaram’s vettuva vari fits the depiction. The key observation here is that, when all IVC male figures are consistently depicted with facial hair (beard) in this seal it’s absent. The Tamil tradition portrays the Vehicle or the animal associated with Kottravai is Deer particularly the Blackbuck deer. In this seal all other animals are seen surrounding the figure except the deer like , possibly blackbuck deers. They are depicted exactly under the figure, which substantiates it is the mount/vehicle. This is a standard practice in Indian iconography which is followed even today. The jewellery, bangles match more with female than male figure obtained in IVC. The so called phallus(erect penis) is actually the end of the waistband/ girdle. Interestingly scholars including John Marshall himself never ruled out the ambiguity. Herbert Sullivan favoured it to be a female figure. The adichanallur mother goddess statue also resembles very much like IVC mother goddess figure as seen in these pictures. Since the early society was predominantly matriarchal , I believe it is mother goddess (Kottravai).

It is a great shame that Indian Muslims have largely failed to carry forward the legacy of their rich and diverse architectural past & have instead adopted an ugly minimalism. Even the ruins of what our elders built look better than the minimalist slop we build. (Muzaffarid)

A video circulating on social media shows cow vigilante Daksh Chaudhary, also known as “Akku Pandit,” and his associates allegedly assaulting a Muslim man, leaving him partially unclothed and severely beaten. According to claims shared online, the incident was linked to allegations of so-called “Love Jihad”. The video appears to show the man being physically assaulted and humiliated in public.
