“Trad” Galleries get a lot of scam emails pretending to look for NFTs. And they don’t know how to handle that. Just like nft space has it’s own weird decorum so does the art world. it’s not strange for them to not want to deal with it

Analog to every digital art advisor, broker, influencer here with artists, "If you're not famous or making a lot of money, we are not interested" I don't know why you wrote this tweet Robert.

I’m aware of the situation surrounding Foundation and I know many artists are trying to understand what this means for their work.
I want to be clear about my position. I am no longer affiliated with Blackdove - I left the company 2 weeks ago. I have not been involved in decisions related to the platform’s ownership or infrastructure.
Over the past several months, I had the opportunity to work closely with many artists, support projects, and help build community around Foundation. That work and those relationships matter deeply to me.
I was inside one of the most visible NFT platform breakdowns and the lessons learned from this experience are immense.
We have lots of opportunities to grow and improve as a community going forward.
Right now, the priority is making sure artists have clarity and options. If you are unsure about your metadata, IPFS pinning, or what steps to take next, please be patient while the team at @visualizevalue steps up as the heroes we all need to pin the ENTIRE HISTORY of @foundation on IPFS.
This is a preservation of our culture and that service is invaluable.
This space only works when artists are protected and supported.
I intend to continue doing that independently until I find the right team.
If you need help, my DMs are open.

2 years ago today my art was exhibited through @accelerateart at the triangle loft in NYC (thanks to @ClaireSilver and @benroy . It was also my first time speaking on a panel, about my art, my ambitions, the space itself.
That day was what caused a major pivot in my life. At the time, I was healing from a cervical spine injury after being assaulted on the job, and had no idea what to do career wise anymore. Truly thought I’d be in my healthcare gig for life, I loved my career. BUT, I did know art has always been my safe space, and I couldn’t do anything else really. So I doubled down on art.
That fall, I ended up moving to NYC. I spent that entire summer and beginning of fall working on Nocturne Noir, a horror art exhibition. I collaborated with @vrrronka_ with @infiniteobjects and @BurritoDAO to make it happen. BurritoDAO helped me with getting screens, helped me set up. @JTLissPhotoArt through the Bonk DAO also helped with a grant. Without these folks, I could not have made it happen. BUT I DID.
I made it happen because horror art to me is some of the most unique and intricate works you can come across in the arts. It hits nerves, it’s powerful, but it hardly is exhibited because of its themes. I curated 10 artists, some in the space and some who never had minted before. We got their works on Infinite Objects, we got them on @exchgART, and I’m still incredibly proud of that. In fact, there may be some editions left on Nocturne Noir on exchange art, works from @seanmundyphoto , @kreepshowart , @blackvomi7 , @_WolfAdventures , @intonightsday , @screamwithreem , @KugutsuNFT , @andresdelvecc , Brandon Sparks, and @selkm_ .
It was an honor to celebrate artists with Nocturne Noir Season 1. It also jumpstarted me into helping with many events in the future, @EfdotStudio , @Jessiemordine and @Willep333 have been amazing folks to work with and get to know through their own exhibitions or @CanalStreetShow . I’m forever grateful for all of the opportunities I have been granted to collaborate with these folks on events. It’s been the healthiest, most fulfilling work experiences doing so.
I spent a lot of my first 2 years here in NYC giving back. Whether that be curating, helping with events, promoting local businesses.. and it has been the best two years of my life in regard to art and the friendships I have made through it.
I also want to shout out @Cat_Russell_ @0x_Joe @Hildabroom7 because without the introduction from them to Hilda, I wouldn’t be working for them. So I’m so beyond grateful for these opportunities.
This year I am doubling down further on my art, Season 2 of Nocturne Noir, and continuing to nurture my friendships I’ve made here. I love you all, thank you for everything. But also, your reminder to just DO THINGS. Just do it even if it’s scary. Things are not just handed out to you. Put the work in, be consistent. The universe will bless you, I promise.
