To everyone hating on the Mormons and saying we aren’t Christians for the last few days. I don’t really care. I honestly don’t care that someone in the Pentagon doesn’t believe that me or any other member of my faith isn’t Christian, even though that belief is wrong. I don’t need you to tell me that my faith in Jesus Christ and His Gospel is enough for you. It needs to be enough for Him. I don’t follow the scholars or their incorrect beliefs from Nicea, I follow Jesus Christ. Powerful and simple truths were lost after the death and resurrection of the Savior. Parts of that truth remain in the sects of Christendom, but the whole truth of the Gospel that Jesus Christ taught is only found in the @Ch_JesusChrist. Those truths that were lost were restored by Jesus Himself to the earth over 200 years ago when he appeared on the right hand of His Father to prophet Joseph Smith, restoring the power, the authority and the doctrine of the church He Himself founded 2000 years ago in the Holy Land. God is not dead and He still speaks to men today, how incredible! The Heavens are not closed. Miracles have not ceased. Families can be sealed together forever, our kindred dead who died without ever hearing the name of Christ can be saved. God has a plan of happiness for each and every one of us. He knows us by name. He weeps with us when we suffer, and rejoices with us when we’re happy. The Bible is a record of God’s dealings with the ancient Israelites, and the Book of Mormon is the record of His dealings with the ancient inhabitants of the Americas. Both testify of the divinity of Christ. God loves all mankind, so you think an ocean can stop Him from sharing the news that we all need Jesus and His Sacrifice for us? I don’t need the world to tell me my faith is enough, it only needs to be enough for the Savior. Many of you who’ve come after me, and so many good and faithful members of the Church of Jesus Christ have deep faith. I respect that even if you do not respect my faith. But that’s ok, even Jesus had that problem. “If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. “As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you.” John 15:18-19 NIV It was true of the Church of Jesus Christ of old, and it’s true of the Church of Jesus Christ in these Latter days too! Take a second to see where the immediate hatred and condescending feelings come from. And take a good honest look at the Church. Take a real good hard look at the Book of Mormon. I know that it’s true, it built on my faith I gained from reading the Bible and rooted it in the Savior Jesus Christ and gave me direction. Don’t take my word for it either. If you’re a Christian who prays, you don’t believe the heavens are closed either. So if you ask with some intention to actually listen to the answer God gives you. I will guarantee He will give you the same answer He gave me. That the Book of Mormon is His word, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is His church on the earth today and the only church on earth with His Authority. It has Apostles just like Peter, James, and John, He has called a prophet on the earth again just like Moses or Noah and it is @OaksDallinH. Like I said: don’t take my word for it. Ask Him. Knock.
