They enjoyed Alfredo pasta, fried chicken wings, lemon drops, and other items, running up a $200+ tab. Instead of paying, they slipped out one by one while the server was away and fled. They later posted about the "win" online. The restaurant's surveillance video and their reservation details (with real names and contacts) quickly identified them, leading to a police investigation.

We have a huge gap in skilled trades in this country. And apprenticeships, particularly union apprenticeships, are the best way for veterans to get into skilled trades. Our bill will help move that ball forward and give veterans access to the opportunities they need.

The Supreme Court gutted Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act, allowing states to now systematically dilute the power of Black and Brown voters through gerrymandering. This is discriminatory and echoes back to the racist history of this country. We cannot give up on this fight.

I appreciate the push to get people to eat healthier, and I don’t mind using SNAP as a lever. But it’s not as simple as many privileged people think/ say. If you live in a grocery desert and all you have is a convenience store or a Dollar General, it’s not so simple to EAT REAL FOOD. 🤷🏽‍♂️
