To combat this abusive practice, we filed House Bill No. 9171 or the "Anti-Ticket Scalping Law", which seeks to protect consumers by prohibiting ticket scalping, particularly the unauthorized resale of tickets at prices exceeding 10% above face value. Hindi pwedeng i-normalize ang pananamantala ng mga scalpers. Kapag hindi ito naaksyunan at napatawan ng mahigpit na parusa, mas marami pang fans at consumers ang mabibiktima. Hindi ito simpleng "diskarte" o "hustle" sa pagnenegosyo. Isa itong garapalang pagkatuso, panloloko at panggagantso sa kapwa. Kaisa po tayo ni Sen. Kiko Pangilinan at mga kasamahan natin sa Kongreso sa layuning sugpuin at panagutin ang mga nasa likod ng modus na ito.
