This decision will severely damage U.S. physician retention.
Foreign physicians often spend 7 to 11 years in the U.S. before obtaining a green card. Many are structurally barred from permanent residency unless they first complete years of residency or fellowship, then serve another 3 to 5 years in underserved communities through J-1 waiver programs.
After a decade of training, paying taxes, treating American patients, and filling critical shortages, telling them to leave the U.S. and wait abroad for a green card is absurd, especially when they may then face a travel ban.
The message is clear: America wants immigrant doctors’ labor, but not their stability.
That is how you destroy recruitment and retention.

Domino’s offers “make it right” with replacements, store credit, or rarely refunds for legitimate issues reported promptly. But “nasty” is highly subjective. Refunds are not automatic for subjective dissatisfaction, especially without evidence or return
If they’ve eaten it or taken it home without bringing any back, there’s no basis for a cash refund
Stop catering to people pulling this. They are just trying to get free food and it works

Thomas Diiorio, 40, was arrested in Mount Laurel, New Jersey, and charged with harassment and bias intimidation
Video shows Diiorio aggressively approaching his neighbor while she was on the phone, yelling at her to get in her car and leave
He allegedly told her, “It’s always you people,” and used racial slurs
When Diiorio was asked by police what he meant by the phrase, he responded that he 'never seems to have these problems with [White] people,'
The woman told police her daughter had been bullied by Diiorio’s children, who called her an “ugly African.”
Police initially separated the two and no charges were filed on the spot, but after reviewing the video, they filed criminal complaints against Diiorio

My grandfather from my dad's side's name was Reichler. My father changed our last name to Raveh.
From my mom's side, the last name was Schreiber, which means writer in German. My mom's brother changed his last name to Sofer, which is Hebrew for writer.
Both their European names were "acquired" generations back when their Shtetls (Jewish village) were forced to do so.
