So far, this things done are: - Created the basic modular scene flow: Base,Shop,Work, andDay Results, all routed from one Mainscene - Added the base home screen with the ASCII apartment/guy and the Work/Buy Stuff entry points. - Built a grouped shop with light prerequisites and upgrade levels for Mechanical Keyboard, Coffee Mug, Pair Programmer, and Bug Tracker. - Moved the workday into its own screen with a Standup modal, Take the taskstart gate, per-character earnings, word bonuses, and end-of-day results popup. - Added the first drawback system: random bugs during work that regress completed progress and show an on-screen alert.

The game will be about (oh surprise) coding. You try to code a snippet, you get money, get upgrades and repeat.

I've decided to try to code a little game after watching a couple of videos of idle/incremental games. Let's use godot and start from the very basic stuff, this is a learning journey

I wrote some notes about #Pretext And Badge Placement or how to draw badges in a performant and dynamic way! My first real-world implementation of that amazing lib :)

Talking about UI, is my blue your blue? I invite you to test your color categorization skills with a simple interactive challenge. The experience reveals how subjective our perception of colors can be, questioning whether the blue I see is truly the same blue you see. ismy.blue For me, my boundary is at hue 172, greener than 66% of the population and turquoise is blue.

So... I’ve been experimenting with #chat as the default UI for #AI because it feels like the obvious choice. One input, problem solved. But then, when you try to use it for something simple: What can this actually do? How should I ask? Maybe try again. It works, but it asks a bit more from you each time. It starts to feel less like using software and more like figuring it out as you go. Which is interesting, because most people don’t open a product looking for flexibility. They already know what they want, and they want to get there quickly. Chat is great for exploring, for those moments where you don’t quite know the path yet. I’m just not sure it should be the default for everything.

Thinking about writing more here Lately I’ve been working on #AI integrations in UI/UX and I keep running into the same kinds of questions: - where does AI actually belong in a product? - when does it help vs just add noise? - why do some “cool” features never get used? so I’m going to start sharing small notes as I go, nothing super polished just things that worked, didn’t work, or felt off and mostly around AI + UI/UX

Quick llife update: I'll be focusing now on #ai implementations at RevvitySignals, focusing on app interactions and quick wins. That did also imply a move to Boston 🇺🇸 😁
