Punjab government will strictly follow in letter and spirit the Supreme Court order given on 19th May 2026. As per the SC orders, we will: - Remove stray dogs from all high footfall public spaces so that children, senior citizens and families can move freely without fearing for their safety. We will create and maintain adequate number of dog shelters where these stray dogs can be cared for properly. - Take legally permissible measures, including euthanasia, in cases involving rabid, incurably ill or demonstrably dangerous and aggressive dogs posing a threat to human life, strictly in accordance with the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act and the ABC Rules.

ਦਲ ਖ਼ਾਲਸਾ ਦੇ ਆਗੂ ਭਾਈ ਗਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੇ ਚਲਾਣੇ ’ਤੇ ਕੀਤਾ ਦੁੱਖ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ -ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਦੀ ਅੱਜ ਹੋਈ ਅੰਤ੍ਰਿੰਗ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਦੀ ਇਕੱਤਰਤਾ ਵਿਚ ਦਲ ਖਾਲਸਾ ਦੀ ਸਥਾਪਨਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਮੋਹਰੀ ਪੰਚਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਭਾਈ ਗਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੇ ਅਕਾਲ ਚਲਾਣੇ ’ਤੇ ਗਹਿਰੇ ਦੁੱਖ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਗਟਾਵਾ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ-ਨਾਲ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਹਮਦਰਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ। ਇਸ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਪਾਸ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਮਤੇ ਵਿਚ ਕਿਹਾ ਗਿਆ ਕਿ ਲੰਮਾਂ ਸਮਾਂ ਜਲਾਵਤਨ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਭਾਈ ਗਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੇ ਸੰਘਰਸ਼ਮਈ ਜੀਵਨ ਅਤੇ ਕੁਰਬਾਨੀ ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਸਤਿਕਾਰ ਭੇਟ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਭਾਈ ਗਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਦ੍ਰਿੜ੍ਹਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਸਿੱਖ ਸਿਧਾਂਤਾਂ ’ਤੇ ਪਹਿਰਾ ਦੇਣਾ ਅਤੇ ਕਠਿਨ ਹਾਲਾਤ ਵਿਚ ਜੀਵਨ ਪੰਧ ਤਹਿ ਕਰਨਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਪੰਥਕ ਪਛਾਣ ਦਾ ਲਿਖਾਇਕ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਕੌਮ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਯਾਦ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
