LeBron James on SGA winning back to back MVPs:
“I think he’s very deserving and nobody can sit here and be like, “How the hell did Shai win again?” Like, nobody can sit here and say that. And to go up against him for four games and obviously in the regular season as well. He does things to a defense, does things to opposing teams that you have to simply account for. He’s number one and two and three on that scouting report, you know, and he’s the head of the snake.”

The wild stat from the first half?
The Minnesota Timberwolves took SIXTEEN more shots than the San Antonio Spurs.
58 attempts to 42.
Normally that’s a recipe for a blowout.
But San Antonio completely canceled it out by shooting a ridiculous 59.5% from the field and 50% from three.
The problem? Minnesota created that volume edge through offensive rebounds and only 3 turnovers.
If the Spurs clean up the ball security in the second half, they’re in a great spot. They've become either tired or complacent and they need to dig in and protect every possession.
"Every SINGLE play, on EVERY SINGLE part of the floor, people are trying to impose their PHYSICALITY on him... At some point he should be protected and if not... HE'S GOING TO HAVE TO PROTECT HIMSELF and unfortunately, stuff like THAT happens."
