We want to make it absolutely clear that SOON Foundation is not involved in, nor did we have any incentive to participate in, the recent price dump of $SOON. This incident occurred at a time when we are actively working to list $SOON on more centralized exchanges, improve spot liquidity, and prepare for the release of key products like simpfor.fun V3. It would be completely against our own interests to trigger any market disruption during this critical growth phase. Furthermore, after the unlock of the SOONer NFT, there has been no continuous or abnormal sell pressure from team members or early contributors. Given the timing and structure of the dump, we believe this was a deliberate and coordinated action by a professional trading institution, likely with market-making experience and a clear short strategy, aimed at exploiting liquidity asymmetries—particularly between deep perpetual markets and thin spot liquidity on CEXs (especially in Korea). We want to assure our community that we are actively working on a set of countermeasures and structural solutions to address this situation and further strengthen the $SOON ecosystem. Fluid (@0xfluid)—a decentralized lending protocol and DEX with $1.8B+ in Market Size—has adopted Chainlink CCIP and the Cross-Chain Token (CCT) standard to enable highly secure transfers of its FLUID token across @arbitrum, @base, and @ethereum. The Fluid community chose CCIP in a governance vote after a competitive bridge selection process, ultimately selecting CCIP as it did not introduce additional security assumptions based on the protocol's existing usage of Chainlink.
