And then upon calling the customer care, it is being confirmed yes there is a missing article because it was out of stock and the internal comment says Customer is willing to wait. But the customer was never contacted.

And there is no intimation to the customer that there are missing articles in the order. The purchase page shows as completed order. Customer realizes it only when the assembly team comes to assemble the furniture.

@IKEA you need to seriously look into the India operations. It’s a total mess and in this age it is not expected from a giant company like IKEA. Articles are marked as customer is willing to wait and not delivered because it’s out of stock. #Ikea
