Creator definition can be different per platform e.g. Youtube is B2B2C — platform to creators/advertisers to viewers vs. Meta feels more P2P atm so it can create a stringent creator requirement like Twitter Super Follow (>10K, 25 tweet/month)

@zennypae @Meta @Twitter Legitimate question though. Why should I get paid to browse YouTube? I get entertainment form watching the videos, they don't cost me anything, and I cost THEM money every time I click on a video.

If web 2 social platforms were to incentivize its users: @Meta sharing $7.5B profit ($27.9B revenue) with 2.93B MAUs: $2.56 @Twitter sharing $513M profit ($1.2B revenue) with 229M DAUs: $2.24 Their operating expenses are too high to even consider profit sharing.

Moral of the story: Build user incentives into your business model early.
