@FishKnowsBall @JN_Steve_ Production wise for sure, but Austin was easily in the worse situation than any of them. He was a WR3/4 playing WR2. Wheaton actually got to play WR3 and that’s with prime Ben, AB and Marty B taking a lot of attention away
English

@JN_Steve_ Wheaton blows these guys out the water.
Probably Eli and Sammy next, followed by Austin, just too inconsistent and not reliable.
English

@zreed_19 @MrNoFollowers2 @CarterCritiques What really happened: Butler gave the front a much needed update in ‘15. Tuitt ate as Cam forced more doubles. So in ‘16 they draft Hargrave. Cam has 7 sacks in 7gms before IR. 2017 they add Alualu, Cam picks up where he left off. All more crucial factors to his breakout than TJ
English

Watt was better than Myles and today Myles is better than Watt. That's ok.
When Watt had 20+ sacks you said sacks didn't matter and only win rate. Even though Watt had superior stats in every category.
Now that Garrett had 20 sacks, all of a sudden, sacks matter again.
sal@johnbreadstx
steelers fans lost the watt vs Myles debate so badly they reverted to arguing about players from a decade ago lmao Also fwiw no GM in the world would take AB over Julio. Plus AB is a piece of shit
English

@willeparker @MrNoFollowers2 @CarterCritiques You could lowkey say Watt impacted Cam’s career more. Cam is very underrated still even with his resume. But Cam wasn’t “Cam” till a certain somebody was drafted in 2017.
English

@MrNoFollowers2 @CarterCritiques Cam is vastly underrated even by PIT fans. Folks don’t want to mention his impact on Watts career. Garrett next to prime Heyward wouldn’t be fair imo. And I love Watt
English

@NeightFSU @ILuvDaChi @ZachNagel7 Exactly. He should’ve never been this good at 5’10 190. AB was better at everything julio did except 50/50’s but even then he was ELITE at it (at 5’10). Better route running, better after the catch, better release, better hands. Julio is “prettier” to look at because of his size
English

@zreed_19 @ILuvDaChi @ZachNagel7 I was there! Julio is Megatron Lite. No one had ever seen someone like AB. He was impossible to stop. He never disappeared in games. Hell he easily could have been a HOF returner if he played it full time as well. Before and after the catch he was impossible.
GIF
English

@NeightFSU @ILuvDaChi @ZachNagel7 I know. Anyone who disagrees just likes julio because of his size and speed.
English

@zreed_19 @ILuvDaChi @ZachNagel7 It’s because he was considered by everyone as the best in the league.
English

@ILuvDaChi @ZachNagel7 He got more AP1’s than julio in general lol. Also, even when they both got AP1’s , AB was getting more votes😂
English

@ZachNagel7 Didn’t AB get all pro first team honors 4 times during Julio’s prime😭
English

@RipFuckit @ZachNagel7 It was literally always AB vs after Tron was gone. There is a reason he had 4x AP1’s and getting more votes at WR than ANY OTHER WR in the league for FOUR years straight. Including Julio. This isn’t some secret, are people’s memories that bad?
English

@ZachNagel7 You didn’t watch ball then, Cause when AB was on his run, def was always in the convo, don’t know how you missed it especially with those numbers he was putting up
English

@MrNoFollowers2 4x 1st teams over 2…it’s not close imo. AB in his prime was ALWAYS one of the top 3 guys. He was always included in best WR convos. 2x Rec leader, 2x yard leader, 1x Rec TD leader. Julio is great, easy HoF. AB was getting and has more AP1 votes than this guy.
English

This is crazy revisionist history because AB was racking up 1st team all pros during these years lmao.
zach@ZachNagel7
These Julio/AB narratives are so terrible There was a point where Julio was the standard Megatron or Julio Tae or Julio Hopkins or Julio AJ Green or Julio Dez or Julio AB or Julio It’s always been _________ or Julio I have NEVER seen the same for AB
English

@SQUIRREL0NR01DZ @MrNoFollowers2 AB was an elite returner, he went crazy anytime they punt him there. Even when he became a full time starter at WR, they’dt throw him back there when needed and he’d break one off. He’s the best WR ive seen. Im biased for sure.
English

@MrNoFollowers2 Antonio brown put the same fear in defenses and special teams(the limited amount that they used him). Julio is a great player, but AB is better.
English

I get the combine stats, but what about touchdowns?
Not Bijan@InBijanWeTrust
“Because he’s tall” and it’s a 6’3 220 cyborg with a faster 40 time than Adrian Peterson and the route running of an angel sent from heaven
English

@14k__zay @loserboynic @faulpinebaum3 @SteelersWin109 Also, what about Christmas day reaching out the ball in the final sections, getting his facemask snagged and 3 guys trying to tackle him. At 5’10 like 190😂 guy was a monster
English

@loserboynic @faulpinebaum3 @SteelersWin109 Snatching from someone else’s hands is a lot easier than catching the ball with one hand while also toe tapping on the sidleline😂
English

I just thought of 11 AB plays off the top of my head that were better than this
Carlton@CrispyCarlton
Yeah man, i'm gonna go out on a limb and say Antonio Brown could not do this
English

@TommyJaggi Lemon was the flashier pick, and fans wanted him somewhat because we’re all bored of seeing OT’s and DT’s, but that’s why we arent GM’s. Jones sucks and is done here. Move Troy back to LT and Max to RT. Tackle is more important, and harder to find after round 2.
English

Just some food for thought: how would the draft sequencing work out if the Steelers were set on going WR/OT or OT/WR with their first two picks?
1. Max Iheanachor and Germie Bernard
2. Makai Lemon and ???
IF Omar Khan was unwilling to budge from this sequencing, the best available OT was... Gennings Dunker?
Would they have just taken Dunker at pick No. 53? They ended up getting him anyway at No. 96. Lemon would have been way better than Bernard, but I don't think the sequencing would have been great had they gone WR first, then OT—especially if they view Dunker as a guard.
Besides Dunker, the tackles the Steelers who went after Pittsburgh's second round were Markel Bell, Austin Barber, and Caleb Tiernan.
So Max-I and Bernard or Lemon and Bell/Barber/Tiernan?
I think there's at least a debate there.
English

@ShxdowSlxyr @CEO_RPOEnjoyers @Lynchables_ @T3Jab It’s to get engagement 99% of the time because Steeler fans will come from all over to defend him
English

@zreed_19 @CEO_RPOEnjoyers @Lynchables_ @T3Jab That’s what I’m saying lmaoo. Von Miller was great, but pretending like Watt doesn’t belong is disingenuous at best.
English

@ShxdowSlxyr @CEO_RPOEnjoyers @Lynchables_ @T3Jab And the ONLY player since 1982 to lead the league in sacks 3x. More FF’s. Watt also has more AP1’s. Prime for Prime, Watt wins IMO. The stretch from 2019-2023 is insane. And he missed half of 2022 due to a torn pec.
English

@CEO_RPOEnjoyers @Lynchables_ @T3Jab Watt has more All pros and a DPOY over Von Miller. Factor in his production, it’s not a crazy argument. They both use more skill and finesses than the first two..
English

@NotreDamin @Tamias1000 @meatsweatmcgee There’s 4 casinos within an hour of eachother.
Rivers in Pittsburgh
Meadows in Washington PA
Mountaineer (the one in the picture) in New Cumberland
And Wheeling Casino in Wheeling WV
English

@Tamias1000 @meatsweatmcgee Its worse than you think. Everyone town along the river has 6+ gambling cafes full of slot machines.
It's sad
English

what do you think goes on here

Terrible Maps@TerribleMaps
US counties bordering 4 or more states
English

@SteelStandard7 @SteelersNetwork Also was on a horrendous defense where he was the only threat
English

@SteelersNetwork I didn’t think he was good in the games he played either. But maybe he was banged up.
English

@bagupjaay @JoseEdu10598209 @Blitz_Burgh Alright……i wish i had as much hope as you did but i don’t hold as much bias for the steelers i guess. We can come back to this when they win a superbowl or atleast make the AFC championship within 5 years…..hope we can laugh at my stupidity
English

@TommyJaggi If they paid Dean that much they could have kept Pierre for way less. I don't like the Dean singing, but that's just my opinion
English

I think Michael Pittman is a quality WR and Jamel Dean was good last year...
But these two players have an average age of 28.9. Omar Khan still isn't emphasizing youth with offseason additions. #Steelers
