When I think of my favorite plays from Big Ben’s career, I think this might be my favorite one. Knowing how badly Jacksonville took it to the Steelers the year before and Ben having to literally rise from the dead to win this game in 2018…this was the definition of a “revenge game”.

@FishKnowsBall @JN_Steve_ Production wise for sure, but Austin was easily in the worse situation than any of them. He was a WR3/4 playing WR2. Wheaton actually got to play WR3 and that’s with prime Ben, AB and Marty B taking a lot of attention away

@JN_Steve_ Wheaton blows these guys out the water. Probably Eli and Sammy next, followed by Austin, just too inconsistent and not reliable.

Cam has 7 sacks in 7gms before IR. 2017 they add Alualu, Cam picks up where he left off. All more crucial factors to his breakout than TJ

Watt was better than Myles and today Myles is better than Watt. That's ok. When Watt had 20+ sacks you said sacks didn't matter and only win rate. Even though Watt had superior stats in every category. Now that Garrett had 20 sacks, all of a sudden, sacks matter again.

@willeparker @MrNoFollowers2 @CarterCritiques You could lowkey say Watt impacted Cam’s career more. Cam is very underrated still even with his resume. But Cam wasn’t “Cam” till a certain somebody was drafted in 2017.

Better route running, better after the catch, better release, better hands. Julio is “prettier” to look at because of his size

@zreed_19 @ILuvDaChi @ZachNagel7 I was there! Julio is Megatron Lite. No one had ever seen someone like AB. He was impossible to stop. He never disappeared in games. Hell he easily could have been a HOF returner if he played it full time as well. Before and after the catch he was impossible.

These Julio/AB narratives are so terrible There was a point where Julio was the standard Megatron or Julio Tae or Julio Hopkins or Julio AJ Green or Julio Dez or Julio AB or Julio It’s always been _________ or Julio I have NEVER seen the same for AB

@MrNoFollowers2 4x 1st teams over 2…it’s not close imo. AB in his prime was ALWAYS one of the top 3 guys. He was always included in best WR convos. 2x Rec leader, 2x yard leader, 1x Rec TD leader. Julio is great, easy HoF. AB was getting and has more AP1 votes than this guy.

This is crazy revisionist history because AB was racking up 1st team all pros during these years lmao.

@SQUIRREL0NR01DZ @MrNoFollowers2 AB was an elite returner, he went crazy anytime they punt him there. Even when he became a full time starter at WR, they’dt throw him back there when needed and he’d break one off. He’s the best WR ive seen. Im biased for sure.

@MrNoFollowers2 Antonio brown put the same fear in defenses and special teams(the limited amount that they used him). Julio is a great player, but AB is better.

I get the combine stats, but what about touchdowns?

@TommyJaggi Lemon was the flashier pick, and fans wanted him somewhat because we’re all bored of seeing OT’s and DT’s, but that’s why we arent GM’s. Jones sucks and is done here. Move Troy back to LT and Max to RT. Tackle is more important, and harder to find after round 2.

Just some food for thought: how would the draft sequencing work out if the Steelers were set on going WR/OT or OT/WR with their first two picks? 1. Max Iheanachor and Germie Bernard 2. Makai Lemon and ??? IF Omar Khan was unwilling to budge from this sequencing, the best available OT was... Gennings Dunker? Would they have just taken Dunker at pick No. 53? They ended up getting him anyway at No. 96. Lemon would have been way better than Bernard, but I don't think the sequencing would have been great had they gone WR first, then OT—especially if they view Dunker as a guard. Besides Dunker, the tackles the Steelers who went after Pittsburgh's second round were Markel Bell, Austin Barber, and Caleb Tiernan. So Max-I and Bernard or Lemon and Bell/Barber/Tiernan? I think there's at least a debate there.

I think Michael Pittman is a quality WR and Jamel Dean was good last year... But these two players have an average age of 28.9. Omar Khan still isn't emphasizing youth with offseason additions. #Steelers
