Current and former editors just testified at Parliament that 7 years of government subsidies have PERMANENTLY COMPROMISED Canadian media.
The 2019 bailout was supposed to be temporary.
It never ended.
The payments are secret & it’s the only federal program that doesn’t disclose what each company gets.
The government decides who qualifies as a “journalist” to receive the money.
141 news corporations now receive secret federal payments.
Media that take the money get better access.
Media that don’t are left outside.
Now you know why they never ask the hard questions.

The CEO behind the $206 million taxpayer-funded Mersey River Wind Farm project admitted that his company board is made up of people who were related or connected to former Liberal politicians.
Canadians have a right to be frustrated that the Canada Infrastructure Bank is giving over $200 million to a project that benefits Liberal insiders, and that they refuse to disclose any terms or details.

I have been looking into this story of Mark Carney saying to steelworkers in Hamilton that he will use the Emergency Act to block Alberta Independence, at the ArcelorMittal Dofasco cafeteria. Someone sent me this clip that sounds like Mark Carney is saying he will use the Emergency Powers of the Federal Government. I see other News Media, and others with cameras filming, but there are NO videos online of this event. It's even been scrubbed from the PMO website.
