It's British Science Week and we're very excited for the inaugural @ColliderFest. Evolving from the Hull Science Festival, ColliderFest is a four-day science and arts extravaganza bringing together educational events for schools, a weekend of exciting sciences and arts-based activities for families, workshops and shows for visitors combined with a large scale evening spectacle of light installations trailing across the city centre. On Saturday and Sunday, you can take part in the Hands On Engineering sessions at the Streetlife Musuem. You can learn about the fundamental principles of mechanical engineering with our good friends from @IMechE The Institution of Mechanical Engineers and see if you can build the longest self-supporting crane of the day.
