Christian Brand (Hurricane, WV) posted the low round on Day 2 of the 92nd WV Open at Sleepy Hollow. Brand had no blemishes on his scorecard today with 4 birdies on the front and two birdies on the back. Brand (@seeBRAND), who played his college golf at Marshall, just missed the birdie opportunity on the par-3 No. 12 but piped one down the middle of the fairway on No. 13. His approach shot almost found the bottom of the cup as he finished with a short, up-hill birdie putt to take him to -5 on the day and -8 for the tournament. Brand would birdie No. 14 and finish the 2nd round tied for the lead with Follansbee, WV native and fellow, former @HerdGolf Ryan Bilby (@BilbyRyan) at -9. Actually a great time to work on my body to get ready for my golf game once the snow and ice melts away with warmer days. I have the opportunity to work with Dr. Mike Hall and the folks at @GenerationsPT & @SnapFitnessWV as we go through the Titleist Performance Training over the next few months. We’ll document and log the progress towards my goals of better flexibility, range of motion, better health and of course the ultimate goal of lower numbers on the scorecard.😁 DAY 1: Evaluation and Assessment — I knew I wasn’t flexible and well, now I really know. 🤦🏻‍♂️ Mike took me through several exercises (tests) to get my baseline numbers. He did a great job of explaining each test and what the information is used for. This took about 30-40 minutes to complete. And now the work starts…
