This is incredible. This machine is capable of cleaning up 100 million kg of plastic ocean waste, and as of 2025, it has already collected about 500,000 kg of plastic. It aims to remove 90% of ocean plastic by 2040.

Lots of stress to residents, inc the sudden road closure, but pleased to say the dangerous + noisy manhole on Orton Lane has now been fixed 🚧🕳️👷‍♂️🚧 • I reported it in Dec 25 📝 • An issue affecting residents since Nov 25 🕳️ • Fixed in Feb 26 🚧 Better late than never! 🙃
