like Phalanx, Stormruler is one of those cases where FromSoft did it perfectly the first time and every subsequent attempt at recreating a moment pales in comparison and brings only diminishing returns

This is all they can do because it's all they got. They'll kill you for mentioning how DS1's Sandbox is superior because the map is fun to traverse and the slower game pace allows for easier access to build variety not locked behind a 30 hour Steel Ball Run journey

I purposefully chose Dancing Lion, the most chaotic boss, to showcase that even he has more methodical rhythm & freedom than all DS1 bosses combined.

@NINtendo_maya No you don't understand, it's a skill issue or something if you don't like bosses doing infinite combos with particle effects that blind you. Doesn't it feel good fighting a boss that has a 15 second long moveset and you only get one opening to do any damage?
