Upon their birth, the innate organs that drive them to cry and self-mutilate are removed in the workshop, and the symbols of the shareholders are branded onto their bodies. Designed as secret sabotage tools against warships, their heads are modified with hydraulic pincers—alongside devices that control their minds and compel their spirits to hunt down all uncorrupted souls, granting them the drive to actively peck and tear through the armor of the Faithful Forces. The blasphemous nature of the Sons also makes them frequent test subjects for various experiments contracted by the east holy city company. After these experiments, the disintegrating parts of their unstable bodies are actively spewed forth as they tear, peck, and crush battlefield targets, corroding armor and flesh alike. This only makes it easier for them to complete their sabotage missions, leaving enemies struggling to counter their sudden underwater ambushes. Yet, perhaps due to a minor design flaw, when they expel their crumbling entrails and flesh, one can hear their long-suppressed, soul-piercing screams—an eternal torment left by their unnatural origin and the forced blasphemies inflicted upon them. #trenchcrusade
