Did you know Slowbro/Slowking are the only Pokémon, according to the lore, that can literally devolve? The Pokédex states that if the Shellder is ever knocked off its tail during a battle, it instantly reverts back into a Slowpoke! We don't ever see this happen in the games or anime but could you imagine how cool a battle would be if they integrated this mechanic?
