Bishop Joseph Strickland (@BishStrickland) is taking a stand for American Catholics who are being falsely labeled "antisemitic" by Christian Zionists. Strickland is known as a prelate of courage—willing to make principled stands in even if against the @USCCB.

The Vatican Secretary of State told reporters today that he would tell Donald Trump to end his war with Iran ASAP, & to keep his hands off Lebanon. Lebanon is 35% Christian, and viewed as a target for Zionist Israeli expansionist endeavors—such as the Greater Israel Project.

@skypilot1979 Language is important with these things. Scripture is written in a different language than the Vatican encyclicals. Christ didn't loosen down the law or disintegrate it. He obliterated and destroyed it through the fulfillment of the prophecies.

@skypilot1979 He used the Latin abolish, not the Greek abolish. καταλῦσαι -"To loosen down or disintegrate" Abolitae - "Destroyed, effaced, or obliterated."

Israel's Zionist government will CLOSE the Church of the Holy Sepulchre from February 28 through Holy Week. The Jewish State cites the Iran War—meanwhile continuing to permit other Jewish gatherings in Jerusalem. The Church is widely considered holiest site in Christianity.

WATCH: @calvinrobinson and @dalepartridge agree that Christians' Faith & Peter are the Rock in Matthew 16:18. Partridge notes 1 Corinthians, states every Christian's body is a Temple of God, not a the brick and mortar Temple in Jerusalem.

WATCH: @calvinrobinson asserts the problem of non-Christian interference in the West is two-fold. "The Jews" opened the gates, but the barbarians they let in still need to be dealt with as well.

Protestants and Catholics have been arguing either/or for a long time. Church Fathers understood this to be both/and: St Gregory of Nyssa and St Peter Chrysologus say Peter is the "firm and very solid rock" or "immovable foundation of salvation. Tertullian said the Church is "reared" in/through Peter as he received the keys first. St Augustine taught, "The rock was Christ… in confessing whom… Simon was called Peter." and "Christ… built his Church not on a man but on Peter’s confession. What is Peter’s confession? ‘You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.’ There’s the rock for you." Saints Jerome, Eusebius, Aphraates, Bede, and Cassiodorus all said Christ alone is the foundation stone and the apostles (including Peter) are "rocks" or "living stones" built upon Him. Origen, "A rock is every disciple of Christ" St John Chrysostom, "'And I say unto thee, Thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my Church'; that is, on the faith of his confession." He also calls Peter "unbreakable rock" in other contexts but ties the foundation to the confession. St Cyprian of Carthage, "The Lord says to Peter: 'Upon this rock I will build my Church'… Although He gives to all the Apostles an equal power… yet in order to manifest unity, He has by His own authority so placed the source of the same unity, as to begin from one [Peter]." Peter symbolizes the episcopate and unity; all bishops share equal honor and power, with the "one Chair" figurative for every legitimate bishop's see. St Hilary of Poitiers, "This is the rock of confession whereon the Church is built… the confession from Peter’s mouth, 'Thou art the Son of the living God.'" St Ambrose, "Faith, then, is the foundation of the Church, for it was not said of Peter’s flesh, but of his faith… His confession of faith conquered hell." "Your rock is your faith."
