This is the interview Donald Trump didn’t want you to see. His FCC refused to air my interview with Stephen Colbert. Trump is worried we’re about to flip Texas.

It’s important that you understand what happened last night. Last night, Stephen Colbert interviewed Democratic Texas Senate candidate James Talarico, a candidate who, by all accounts, is on track in the polls to flip Texas blue. In response, Trump’s FCC reportedly threatened CBS if the interview aired. CBS caved and pulled the segment, citing “financial reasons.” In modern American history, no president has been more hostile to free speech than Donald Trump. But censorship always backfires. Here’s the full segment Trump didn’t want you to see.

This is more evil than just proposing a red meat allergy. Alpha-gal syndrome can actually cause people to go into anaphylactic shock from leather, pet dander, milk and dairy products, carrageenan, cooking meat fumes and more. You can even be restricted from flying due to it!

They will look you dead in the face and say J6 rioters with guns, poles, bats, etc were patriots, but an ER Nurse with a camera and a registered firearm was a domestic terrorist.

I’m an immigration restrictionist. I believe that we have the right to remove any and all people who entered our country illegally. Also, ICE is out of fucking control. A bunch of pussies, drunk on power going around intentionally escalating violent interactions and intimidating US citizens. They create these tragic situations and after this gigantic show of force, they won’t deport a fraction of the illegals who entered under Biden. This is simply not worth it.

Positions ICE has taken: - We can enter your home without a warrant - You must carry your papers at all times - But we can ignore them and only our scanner matters - We can detain you anywhere, no matter your age, situation or status - Indefinitely with no access to a lawyer - And basically no right to a day in court - We can send you to a third world prison if we choose - But we can’t bring you back if we made a mistake - And if you interfere with any of this we can shoot you because you are a terrorist How is this not a recipe for totalitarianism?

There was so much talk about the protests in Iran – but they drowned in blood. The world has not helped enough the Iranian people, it has stood aside. What will Iran become after this bloodshed? If the regime survives, it sends a clear signal to every bully – kill enough people, and you stay in power.

Amazon is ending all inventory commingling as of March 31, 2026. This will reduce your chance of getting counterfeits from Amazon when buying from a reliable seller. In the past 3d party sellers would wherehouse products with Amazon for fulfilment, but amazon would treat all of the products with the same SKU as being interchangeable, no matter who sent them in. So you'd get other sellers inventory sent to you if it was in a closer warehouse, meaning you could order from a good seller but get counterfeit products sent in by a shady one, and Amazon wouldn't even tell you that they did a switcheroo. This change is important for safely buying genuine products, such as 3M respirators. sellercentral.amazon.com/seller-forums/…

In 20+ years of building @firstround, I’ve never hired for this specific role before. I’m kicking off a search to hire an Investor who will work directly alongside me. They will share my obsession to meet with the highest potential founders as early as possible, often before they even have a clear “imagine if” yet. Although the role itself is still being defined, my commitment is to work closely with this person to help them build the foundation of their investing career. Here’s what’s probably true about you if you’re the right fit: - You’re enthusiastic and obsessive. Following your curiosity has taken you down often weird and winding paths. - You already know a lot of brilliant builders — and more importantly, they enjoy spending time with you. You have a unique ability to generate followership, likely because you give more than you take. - You actually enjoy the work of building relationships from scratch: the cold emails, the endless events, the persistent follow-ups, the months of coffee chats. It requires relentless execution, and that excites you. You go about this work in an authentic way that isn’t conventional “networking.” If you’re looking for a role where the title does all the heavy lifting for you, this isn’t it. - You don’t find it difficult to put unreasonable hours into your work because it doesn’t feel like work to you. You’d call yourself a “work enthusiast.” - You’ve been immersed in the startup world long enough to have real context. What matters most is you’ve been close enough to startups to understand how they actually work and what great looks like. - You obsess over markets, customers, and why some businesses work while others don’t, but you can also hang when a conversation goes deep into technical choices. - You’re an exceptional communicator who tends to be more of a “simplifier” than a “complexifier.” - We’ll work together incredibly closely, but you aren’t someone who needs to be managed. You learn best by watching, by doing, by asking well-calibrated questions — preferring to “take the wheel” instead of being a passenger. You’d rather shape a role than fill one. If you want to spend your time with builders at the very beginning — and learn this craft of early-stage investing alongside someone who’s been at it for two decades and still thinks it’s the best job in the world — I’d love to meet you. SF or NYC only, with long days and lots of travel in both directions. Apply below. jobs.ashbyhq.com/firstround/4f2…
