I want to be clear on the passport thing: the reason you should get your passport is because right now, you can change your gender marker on your passport easily.
That is what I expect Trump to shut down.
Having a federal ID with your gender marker for 10 years is big.

Some immediate steps I believe that all trans people should take:
- Get your passport. Today. It takes time to come in and this will likely be shut down under Trump.
- Update every ID your state allows you to.
- Make sure you have a supply of medication in case of disruption
