🚨To every Black person tempted by the antisemitic wave sweeping right now:🚨 Back when white mobs lynched us in the streets... When we had no money, no power, and literally no movement... Who stood with us? Who risked everything? The Jews. They weren't just allies—they were family in the fight. - Jewish leaders co-founded the NAACP in 1909 and funded/led it for generations when no one else would. - When Dr. King and our people were arrested, beaten, jailed—Jewish lawyers defended us for free, and Jewish money paid bail bonds and court fees while others turned away. - In Freedom Summer '64, half the white volunteers risking death to register Black voters? Jewish. - Rabbi Heschel marched arm-in-arm with MLK in Selma—our struggles linked forever. Without their blood, treasure, solidarity, and courage—there is no Civil Rights Movement as we know it. No Voting Rights Act. No dream realized. That's why I stand with the Jews. They were our only true friends when this country hated us—when doors slammed shut and ropes hung high. They showed up, bled, and built with us. So to my people joining this demonic, divisive hate today: Pause. Remember. Honor the alliance that freed us. Our histories are bound. Our freedoms were won together. Betray that, and you betray the very martyrs who died for our rights. Black-Jewish unity forged the dream. Don't let hate destroy it. I stand with my Jewish brothers and sisters—always. ✊🏾🤝✡️🇮🇱 Repost if truth > trends. If gratitude > division. If history matters. #BlackJewishAlliance #RememberOurAllies #StandTogether #CivilRightsTruth #NoToAntisemitism

Last night at 10.15pm I was driving Northbound on Kennington Oval Out of nowhere, a cyclist going southbound on the 2-way cycle lane, left their lane at speed, and cut across me to join the southbound traffic lane He was *SO* close to getting hit by my car. Had I not slammed by brakes on, he’d be dead or very hurt There was no way he didn’t see me. He made a conscious choice. I beeped, but he just rode on, oblivious, whilst I was left stressed, a bit scared, and frankly furious Why didn’t he realise he’d be badly hurt, not me? Why did he put his safety at such ridiculous risk instead of stopping? Why did he just presume I’d stop in time? What if I didn’t? But more importantly, how much longer do we all need to put up with this? How much longer do drivers have to put up with constant roadworks and congestion for cycle infra which isn’t even used by so many? Put up with redesigned gridlock- creating junctions to keep cyclists ‘safe’ when many don’t even seem to care about basic road rules? Put up with the ones darting through red lights, speeding on and off pavements or through crossings leaving pedestrians having to fear for their lives? Of course there are many cyclists who are decent. But too many aren’t. And ultimately those ones lead to us to reasonably ask why any of us should care about their safety when those ones just don’t seem to? When I cycle I am SO careful. Why are so many not careful at all, and presume others reactions will keep them safe? Nothing will change of course. This post will get the usual ‘but cars…’ responses (cars are identifiable) or probable accusations this didn’t even happen. Or that it is ‘hateful’. But anyone who walks or drives in a major city knows this is all true, it’s getting worse, and really can’t go on

Greek MEP Afroditi Latinopoulou has just stunned the entire EU parliament: “It is our sacred duty to help cleanse Gaza of Hamas. If Israel falls, the gates of hell will open for all of us. PALESTINIAN STATE DOES NOT EXIST.” Share if you agree!

“My mother survived hell… and still taught me to love life.” - Gene Simmons ✡️ By Gene Simmons My mother’s name was Florence Klein. She was a young Jewish girl in Hungary when the world decided that we were not human. She had dreams. She had family. She had a simple life. And within months… everything disappeared. The Nazis sent her to a concentration camp. They took away her name. They turned her into a number. They stole almost everyone she loved. She saw the worst of humanity. Hunger that bends the body. Cold that pierces the bones. The constant fear of not waking up the next day. But there was something they could never take from her. Her identity. She survived the Nazi extermination camps not because she was the strongest physically… but because she refused to let her spirit die. When the war ended, she was alone in the world. Alone. And do you know what she did? She didn’t choose self-pity. She chose to rebuild. She immigrated to Israel. She learned Hebrew. She worked hard. She became a nurse. She saved lives… after having come so close to losing her own. Then she made an even braver decision: To bring life into the world. I was born in Haifa. I grew up knowing my mother had walked out alive from a place where millions could not. She didn’t talk much about the horror. But her silence screamed history. She taught me discipline. She taught me pride. She taught me that being Jewish is not just a religion. It is memory. It is resilience. It is victory. Years later, when I became Gene Simmons of KISS, when I stood on stages before thousands of people, with fire, lights, and roaring guitars… I wasn’t just a rock star. I was the son of a Holocaust survivor. Every applause was an answer to the attempt to erase us. Every sold-out arena was a message to the past: “You failed.” My mother never sought fame. Never sought recognition. But her very existence was an act of historical defiance. The Nazis tried to turn the Jews into dust. She became a root. 🌿 She built a family. She raised a son who would conquer international stages. She lived long enough to see Israel strong. To see her son succeed. To see that the Jewish people did not disappear. That is victory. Not the victory of power. But the victory of survival with dignity. My mother taught me that hatred does not build empires. Perseverance does. That fear paralyzes. But identity liberates. And that when the world tries to define you as a victim… you can choose to be invincible. She survived hell. And from her ashes… I was born. 🔥 Am Israel Chai.

BREAKING NEWS; Folks it’s My Belief that anyone caught speeding by up to 5mph over the Speed Limit are NOT Prosecuted or given 3 Penalty points; BUT Instead sent a Warning Letter & an online 15min Video on speeding the Highway Code & Road Safety to watch etc; Once watched that’s the END of the matter; of course speeding is a serious matter but let’s also have some balance; Today’s vehicles have much better breaking systems & many 20mph Roads are quite frankly ludicrous ; PLUS MANY other roads have had their Max Speed limits already greatly reduced! We need to be rational as well as practicable; of course we must try & reduce road deaths & casualties as best we can but Persecuting & Prosecuting everyone just a few miles over already very stringent speed limits is NOT the best way to deal with such as it criminalises many otherwise law abiding members of the public; plus most of those just a few molies over the limit would probably NOT gonna have an accident & cause Injuries to others; Yes there are speed awareness courses (to avoid 3 penalty points; that cost circa £100 on first breach where the speed is not ‘Excessively’ over the limit takes about 2hrs to complete! Speed awareness courses when offered & accepted as an alternative to a £100 fine & 3 Penalty Points last fir 3yrs before becoming eligible for another under the same criteria given above👆 Motorists often feel like the low hanging fruit whilst many CRIMES when detected ie shoplifting & many others Do Not get financial punitive punishments like motorists do; Also a motorist being given 3 Penalty Points will get a ‘Loading’ on their insurance renewals for 4yrs ie a higher premium so the Initial £100 fine is like my to be many times than the Initial £100 over the 4yr period! This is NOT about going soft on speeding motorists it’s about showing some fairness especially at a time when Millions of people/families are already struggling to pay their everyday bills; It’s about Balance & Fairness & the Initial ‘shock’ letter & the required viewing of a short but hard hitting video to watch will I believe have the desired effect without a severe financial punishment! This is Nota Green Light to speed & break the law & put others at risk of Injury or worse but about education leaning & understand the consequences of speeding in as I state a more fair & balanced way!
