Since 2015, GP surgeries have had to serve hundreds more homes each, and over a thousand practices have closed. The result is simple: too many people struggling to get an appointment when they need one. We are calling for a new approach: no doctors, no development. When new homes are built, they must come with new or expanded GP surgeries — properly funded and ready before people move in.

Private companies making super-profits from the NHS is an unacceptable waste. That money should go to frontline services, not corporate profits. The NHS should use its buying power to drive down costs, not be taken for a ride.
