Escorre uma lágrima sempre que lembro que ela seria a Dra Manhattan rosinha, mas tiveram que super nerfar ela, nem pra ela ser uma Lanterna criativa também, só faz parede! 😔

Wish they retcon this in the Super Kai. It’s strange sending Trunks to a future where another Trunks and Mai already exist. It would’ve been better to send him to Cell’s timeline, where there are no no Androids, no Cell, no Trunks. Poor Bulma just has to live all alone.

@AnimeAjay I guess I'm going crazy, cause I thought it was confirmed it was him. lol When I saw it, the arms and feature placement really reminded me of him, and I knew they probably wouldn't jump designers again (And Nakatsuru Sadly wouldn't join again).

I doubted myself at first but I'm pretty sure my gut feeling that this is Naohiro Shintani is right. Same noses, collar bone ident, eye shapes. I'll try and get a confirmation. If so, he's taken his work in a more angular direction than even the Sparking Zero cover.

@AnimeAjay When I saw that fist shot of Beerus I thought it was Nakatsuru, but Nakatsuru draws Beerus differently.

Of course, beyond that you can find much, much more - ambitious new layouts, scene extensions, and whole new additions. AND you can look forward to much more dramatic changes moving forwards into the next arc.

Here's virtually every change between the original Dragon Ball Super (2015) and the remastered Dragon Ball Super: Beerus (2026) found in the reveal trailer. It's a mix of recomps, redraws, and entirely new cuts.

@AnimeAjay I wonder if that last shot is from the mental training Goku has on the manga. Where he fought Freeza, Cell and Kid Buu before Goten almost falls off the cliff.

But outside of them, there are a bunch of brand new cuts. The team are VERY aware of Dragon Ball Super's poor reputation for its visuals and their goal is to try and restore that with this remaster.

While some minor redraws can be found, you can still see some major ones! Naoki Tate's infamously over-ambitious attempt at a lens-distorted Goku has been entirely redrawn by Tadayoshi Yamamuro. While a more standard angle now, it's significantly more palatable.

Huh, not Sawai then. Just Takara and Kashihara under Kubota. My poor eyeballs lost their touch.
