@DaMissingNeedle I don’t disagree, but a lot of people would rather have a repo/salvage with 30k miles on it than a 15-20 yr old car with 200k miles on it. Demand for the latter will be down & the supply of the former will be up. Old cars should crater in value (to what they are actually worth).

The caveat is that if a car is repossessed, it probably had no maintenance done to it, so all the repos about to flood the market are no better than salvage.

@wrinklefreelee There is a massive bubble here that will burst. Auto loan defaults are at an all time high. Repossessions will happen and will flood the used car market with many newer cars with fewer miles, and with cheaper price tags, because all of the cars will be underwater in value.

Dave Ramsey says that credit cards are a scam. But I get 9% cash back on groceries (Venmo promotion for 6mo), 5% back on Gas (Costco Citi), 5% back on Amazon, 3% back on everything else (Venmo promotion) That's literally free money. Be responsible and use credit cards.
