Me defending BTS since 1930 and atill counting

the way he threw that doll right back i’m crying he’s strict as hell

🐹: I feel a bit regretful while performing. I want to interact more with the fans. 🐨: Honestly, I want to do that too. Crowd surfing! 🐹: What’s that? 🐨: Just jumping into the crowd! [mimes jumping and being passed along] And then they send you back. You know what I mean? 🐹: I don’t think we should do that. 🐨: Jin doesn’t really like scary things. 🐹: It’s not about being scared. I want to interact with the fans, but as idols, if we do that, videos will circulate, and then more people will want to do it. So, I have to grit my teeth and not look at the people next to me, just looking at the camera or the ground. I’m sorry, but we shouldn’t do it. 🐨: Since we shouldn’t do it, you should go down at the first sound check. 🐹: Oh, the first performance? 🐨: Yeah, the first performance. 🐹: You shouldn’t go down then. Because when I did the solo tour, I did that. I thought it would be fine, but the culture has changed a lot in a few months. 🐨: Oh, really? Yeah, I want to do things like that too. But anyway, safety is the top priority, isn’t it? 🐨: But our fans are so orderly and follow the rules so well. 🐹: There are no accidents at all. 🐨: None.

track talk // I think the one of the biggest clap back to the military allegations on permanent hiatus is in the track ALIENS. the song ended with military-style counting ("Hut Dool") which symbolizes their synchronized momentum and conquest of "new territory" in the industry. for years, the military hiatus was a looming question mark for BTS. by using the specific military cadence used in ROK Army drills, they aren't saying they are back but they are using the very language of the experience that took them away. It turned the period of absence into a weapon of presence but proving that the time spent in service didn't dilute their identity but sharpened it. i fear a more iconic comeback anthem to reclaim territory & prove bitches wrong has not been written before.
