In times like these if a Muslim is defending Islam then make Dua that Allah aids him even if he has innovations. Muslim over a non-Muslim any day in a debate etc.. that doesn’t mean promoting this Muslim as a source and guide for knowledge if he has innovations or the likes. But for his defence of Islam we make Dua for him as our brother in Islam. This is not the time to be attacking other Muslims or pointing out their deviances, there’s a time and place for everything. May Allah aid those that are fighting tooth and nail to defend the Muslims in Palestine in the social media platforms against the propaganda war machine.

Tawheed is at the TOP of the list of priorities for seeking knowledge, dawah to non-Muslims and Muslims. Tawheed: is to single out Allah in that which He deserves; from names and attributes, from singling out the actions only attributed to him like giving life/death, knowledge of the unseen etc and to only worship Him alone without any partners. The most important of that which Allah deserves is: that we single out Allah with our actions. Praying, fasting, slaughtering, swearing oaths, hope, fear and love etc all other actions we perform as worship is for Allah alone, without sharing it with anyone else. The head of those acts of worship is Dua / Supplication. This is the pinnacle of worship and cannot be made to anyone besides Allah; not a close Angel nor a chosen Prophet, let alone anyone lower then them from righteous people. We will find this act of Dua present and recommended in four of the five pillars of Islam In prayer: recommended to make dua in Sujood and just before finishing the prayer. Zakah: Prophet ﷺ was commanded to make dua for them after giving Zakah. Fasting: recommended to make dua when you’re breaking your fast. Hajj: recommended to make plentiful dua throughout Hajj especially in Arafah. May Allah increase us in knowledge and action upon Tawheed and make us die upon Tawheed and resurrect us with the people of Tawheed.
