In the footage obtained by SaharaTV, a large number of g¥nmen carrying we@pons were seen riding motorcycles through the checkpoint while police officers appeared to direct and hail them as they passed. According to the report, a man recording the video was heard saying in Hausa. “B@ndits with their weapons are moving freely,” However, another occupant of the vehicle quickly cautioned him, saying, “Please keep quiet, why are you talking?” According to security sources, the incident occurred recently along the Zamfara-Sokoto axis.
