Region 2C was just 3-18 in state games from 2016-2021. @StarkLonghorns have done their part to change that trend with an opening round 9-8 win over Maple Lake. They’ll matchup with @BlueOxBaseball who have won at least one tournament game in their last 5 appearances.

Stark-7 Bemidji-3 Longhorns erupt for 6 in the 9th breaking a 1-all tie to advance to Labor Day. @sellner_adam⬇️was phenomenal going 8+ 3R, 6H, 7K. @haala_zach and Sellner with 2H to lead the offense. @SeanMathiowetz breaks it open with a 3R LL HR in the 9th.

What a thrilling/heartbreaking finish in Dundas. David Surprenant bounces one to the right and Mason Cox squeaks past the catcher for the walk off, game winning run as @StarkLonghorns defeats @MapleLakeLakers 9-8. @MinnBaseball @DundasDukes

Maple Lake-8 Stark-9 @_cox_mason ⬇️ IF single scores @D_Soup7 for the walk-off victory. Haugo gets the win in relief going 5 great innings. Cox and @SeanMathiowetz each with 3H and @timothyseifert with 2H to lead the offense.

After Maple Lake ties it in the top of the 9th, Stark loads the bases and walks it off in the bottom of the 9th!!!

Lamberton-3 Stark-4 Another instant classic as we plate 3 in the bottom of the 8th to secure our spot in @fdm2022. @haala_zach goes the distance allowing 3R, 8H, 3K, 3BB. Haala also leads the offense with a 3B and the game tying 2B. Again, what a game.

Stark-3 NU-6 Running on fumes @JoshKopacek keeps it close with NU going the distance allowing 6R, 10H, 5K, 4BB as we fall in the seeding game. Kopacek also leads the offense with 2H, 2B. @BrandonHelget also collects 2H to lead the offense.
