I want to retire at 55 which is 12 years away. My kids will be 22 & 17 The only way my mortgage would be paid off by then is if I paid an additional $838.72 per month starting next year. My rate is 2.875% Would you go for the pay off or keep the mortgage into retirement?

@RedhouseRocker @Netwerkin666 They serial number their guitars with the date they start building them. I used my birthday as a serial number on 3 different guitars over the years. First new one was 2006

I don't make any mods just for the sake of making them. Most of my Gibsons, Fenders, etc are all bone stock. People need to stop wanting to mod things and focus on learning to actually play...maybe even...*gasp*...read music.

@ZackAttackP1 Yea simple, but i use it all the time. The pad part fits between the pu and string to clean the top of pu's also.

I dust my guitars with this hairbrush often. Especially before cleaning or polishing the body, because dust creates scratches and swirls in your finish if you leave it there👇 Also, the pad fits perfect between p/us for cleaning/ dusting

@JMGLiving I'm married, and we retired at 55 years old. Still live in the same area. My wife & I both have hobbies, and exercise is important. My retirement hobby was playing guitar, and it's served me well. It's never too late to learn to play an instrument, and you meet people that way.

It’s a hard thing to admit but life has become very lonely for me. I’m 4 years into retirement and in a new state and it’s very difficult to make friends. Life is just different and it’s sad. It’s a tough season in my life. 🙏

@ThrillaRilla369 It's a real thing. We have a German Shepherd puppy, and the only way we can travel is if we leave the windows and tailgate open, and be close by. We love our pup. We will not be traveling with her this summer.

It’s 90 degrees out and you see a dog in a hot vehicle with the windows up and it’s locked… What do you do.. Do you bust the window? 🚗 🐶

Getting new tires, the guy in front of me is dropping is car off to get the battery replaced. Unacceptable, if you are male and you can’t replace the battery your license should be revoked.

I had one of these we got from a store here when I was like 15 or 16. it started squealing so we took it back, not knowing anything about tube amps. the dude took it back and traded us straight across for a Randall 212 combo. I didn't understand at the time, but he clearly screwed us. Probably just needed new tubes. that, along with other interactions with him and other stores, really soured me on small music instrument shops. Absolute assholes.
