Veteran journalist and former presidential aspirant, Dele Momodu, has urged the leadership of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) to nominate him as the running mate to the party’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, for the 2027 presidential election. Mr Momodu said a ticket comprising Atiku from the North and himself from the South would provide a strong platform to challenge the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), urging the party to depart from traditional politics.

Drama in Lagos court when a defendant tried to escape during arraignment after requesting the restroom. He allegedly tried to flee through the toilet ceiling, prompting officers to search when he disappeared. After repeated calls went unanswered and there was no sign of him in the restroom, officers threatened to shoot if he didn't come out. He finally climbed down and was apprehended.

I’m not the only one who witnessed that massive giveaway Bandits hosted on TikTok. The desperation from Nigerians especially the girls, was honestly shocking.
Account numbers (mostly OPay and MoniePoint) were flying across the screen non-stop during his live stream between 12:00 AM and 1:00 AM two nights ago.
The Fulani host ended up dishing out over ₦50 million, and the way people were shamelessly begging their so-called oppressors for money left me speechless.
Thousands were tuned in, glued to the live.
How did we, as a country, sink to this level? It’s genuinely heartbreaking.💔

Let me get this straight > nearly every major democracy restricts mail in voting > they also require real, government issued ID > mail in votes (with no confirmation of citizenship during registration) switched the CA election > thus election in CA is one of the most insecure processes in the developed world There’s no question that fraud happened. It’s statistically certain The only question is whether CA can vote itself out of this mess, or if it’s already too far gone When is enough enough?
