@Autisticosaurus @BBCBreakfast Well there’s a 3/2/4/3/4 syllable pattern - and that would make Britvic the odd one out. I saw a letters pattern and that’s why I chose Britvic. So maybe you’re right about syllables.

The medieval stone robbers did a fairly comprehensive job removing the palatial Roman building currently being excavated at #Carlisle cricket club but this section of the southern wall is now seeing the light of day once again. The building dates to the early 3rd century.

Anyone for a cuppa? Instantly relatable selection of cups from 1800-1700 BCE, #Phaistos. The cups are decorated with white and polychrome Kamares Ware motifs. The ware is named after the Kamares Cave but the pottery was widely made in Crete. 📷 my own. #FindsFriday #Archaeology

Today we’re celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary, and our son is now 20. Where did it all go? And can you apply for a rebate?

@AlisonFisk @Pottedhistory Yes, the familiarity of the forms together with the colours brings us up close to people who lived thousands of years ago. I’d have a replica of each one of these and drink my coffee from a different one every day. I did check the museum shop. 😊

If people’s perceptions are shaped by media, then the question we should ask is this: Who owns the media? Because they shape perceptions, influence outcomes to protect their interests. They don’t care about you, except in terms of what they gain from you. Follow the money.
