@FPL_Bateman Do you know, I was just thinking the same thing. It can be quite frustrating, which is nobody's fault. I think we definitely agree on the fact that gambling in football is a big problem. Perhaps this is a bit "People's Front of Judea" vs "Judean People's Front".

@FPL_Bateman Agreed! It would just be great to see a bit of juicy coverage that targets the big guys here, y'know?

@FPL_Bateman To be devil's advocate: isn't that exactly what Hub are doing? They haven't made a decision here (unless I've missed something?) but they have expressed an interest in having the discussion with their members. Doesn't seem like the moves of a malicious corporation.

@FPL_Bateman I think my professional past gives me a more informed view here, not a less informed view. I don't really hold any bias (those are previous roles, after all), but I have seen how the sausage is made. There is an intentional lack of criticism aimed at bigger orgs, inc. clubs.

@FPL_Bateman How did TalkSport and other huge corporations get away with it? With the numerous routes to monetisation that they enjoy, and their wide proliferation in football culture, it's quite remarkable that they continue to drift under the radar. The BBC needs to hook bigger fish IMO.

@FPL_Bateman I very rarely see anyone complaining about Sky Sports, TalkSport or the numerous other football-related companies that use gambling as a primary income source. I see a disproportionate amount of ire directed towards (relatively) small FPL creators though. Feels unbalanced, idk.

Really nice to get to this point. The other nominees are incredibly deserving, but apparently the Spurs stadium is home to Europe's longest bar, so it'll be nice to have an excuse to see that if nothing else.
