The SMRU aerial survey team conducts regular flights to monitor seal numbers during the harbour seal moult in August. These data help us estimate population size and trends. Today the team are in Plockton, ready to survey on Skye. Fingers crossed for clear skies over Skye! 🌞🚁🦭

Parmi les 8 avions mobilisés de la Norvège au sud de l'Espagne, 2 équipes de l'Observatoire Pelagis couvrent les eaux françaises et adjacentes !
