The idea that a solution can be reached through intimidation, bullying, or bombing a country is merely an attractive illusion and a mirage for extremists. The reality on the ground proved that time must be given to diplomacy; because a political agreement, even one that solves 80 to 90 percent of the problems, is thousands of times better than going to a catastrophic and aimless war.
