Democrats lost Michigan largely due to the Arab/muslim population either voting for trump or third party candidates. Their strategy to win them over is by antagonizing the only Arab in the senate primary instead of supporting their preferred candidate

This is probably true. Trump’s numbers and his actions point in the direction of Republicans losing 40+ House seats and possibly more than enough Senate seats to flip that chamber as well.
