Unfortunately, it’s completely out of our control. I’m in total agreement with you: these secondary prices are insane. This is grotesque profiteering from scalpers who contribute nothing to our tour, enabled by viagogo who also contribute nothing. The only way to end this insanity is legislation that prohibits resale for excessive profit. We’re having various conversations in the UK and the US, and elsewhere. PH

Doctors now get so many requests for letters and forms from patients or from external organisations, they have coined a term for it: GANFYD – Get A Note From Your Doctor. It’s time to review this area to reduce the burden of work it generates for doctors and other NHS staff.
