Remember when Trump tried to repeal the Affordable Care Act without offering any kind of plan to replace it? He’s gonna do that with everything now. Education, healthcare, social security, workplace safety, environmental protections… All of it gone. Can’t fucking wait.

Good morning and Happy Saturday to everyone who agrees that since trump and MAGA took a whole fucking FOUR YEARS to get over their election fraud thing (they never got over it), we should be allowed at least a few weeks to look into all those bomb threats at Democratic polling places. Something ain't right.

I don't fault anyone for suspecting the guy, who was criminally indicted for trying to steal the 2020 election, might have stolen the 2024 election. You'd be naive not to suspect foul play. He is the architect of distrust in our institutions, the sower of doubt in our election processes, the catalyst of our national discord. Rather than spend endless hours pontificating on why he won, the media should spend their time verifying the results. Maybe then they'll get people to actually tune in.

October 24th 1975, women in Iceland refused to participate in society. They did not go to work, take care of the children, they did not feed the children, they did not take the children to daycare, they refused to cook for anybody. Men did not have a single clue about how to

Fun Fact: The ten richest people on Earth, including Musk, Zuckerberg, Bezos, and more, became $64 billion dollars richer with trump's win. And that wealth AIN'T trickling down. Never does, never will.

Where'd all my election deniers go? On E-night in PA, you claimed cheating right up until 10pm. Meanwhile, we had bomb sniffing dogs roaming our offices due to the threats. Our IT systems saw 600K cyberattack attempts from Russia & Bulgaria. Trump won & you all went quiet.

We're already seeing it. Billionaires on bended knee. Criminal charges about to disappear. The streets are quiet as America rolls out a red carpet for a ruler with powers of a king I spoke with a top expert on tyranny about what we can do. My new column🎁share.inquirer.com/ujrAMZ

Biden made banks stop surprising you with hidden charges. That's gone now. $35 insulin is gone. Medicare negotiating drug prices--gone. EPA, HHS, Dept of Energy--gone. All consumer protections--gone. Dept of Labor. National Hurricane Center. NOAA. National Parks. 1/6

History will speak to the cult; how easily they were gaslit; rallied around grievance; railed against their own interests; fell for a flawed and obvious con. History will also speak to the enablers - opportunists and their craven pursuit of power; influencers peddling disinformation for grift. But the true disaster that rises above all others, has been the media's widespread normalization of a madman.

It's all bad. There are only two possibilities. 1. America willingly elected the dumbest, most evil dude anyone even knows about. 2. Our oligarch and autocrat enemies hacked the system and we did basically nothing to stop them.

PEOPLE!!! 20 million missing votes is a systemic thing. Like a software glitch that is not adding in vote by mail. It’s on that scale of things

Palmer Report
Palmer Report@PalmerReport·
We’re in Hell I’ve spent all morning trying to think of more meaningful and graceful words to write, but I’m at a loss so I’ll just say it: this sucks. We woke up today and found out that Americans are a lot worse people than we always hoped they were. And a psychotic senile extremist criminal is going to be President of the United States (again). Like the rest of you, I have no explanation for why 2024 saw record high turnout, yet something like twenty million fewer votes than in 2020. There will be abundant theories about this, and there will be a temptation to chase them, but I’m not sure it matters. The bottom line is that a stunning, jarring number of people were willing to vote for a monster, even after they knew full well that it was a monster. These people are never to be forgiven. It also needs to be pointed out that the media once again screwed us royally. With a hundred days to go the major media outlets (on both sides) suddenly decided to use dishonest pretenses to force President Biden out of the race, at a time when he was still within the margin of error and was in far better cognitive condition than Trump, simply because the media felt it could get better ratings by forcing Biden out. It forced Kamala Harris to enter the race very late, and while she ran a historically inspiring and incredibly competent campaign, winning on such short notice proved to be unrealistic. The media’s dishonest last minute railroading of Biden was a criminal level of election interference on the part of the major media outlets, and they are never to be forgiven either. If I can offer you one piece of advice right now, it’s to try to take this one day at a time. If you start thinking too far ahead about the worst case scenarios… let’s just say that in times like this it’s vital to keep yourself sane. One day at a time. One fight at a time. It’s okay to feel sick to your stomach. I know I do. Right now I’m thinking in particular of women, minorities, immigrants, and the LGBT community, all of whom are in danger. All I can tell you is that it’s been an honor to fight alongside all of you – and I’m going to keep fighting. Whether I want to keep fighting is irrelevant. I have to keep fighting. I have to try. Much hope is lost, but not all hope is lost, and that matters. This is too important to simply give up because things have gotten harder. And I hope you’ll ultimately be willing to keep fighting alongside me.
