@SG_k00ch_Kssr the power to make things perfectly, and have bigger control over their environment. blue was the one that c&a poured more effort into, as it was creating perfectly that in turn influenced caine so much he kinda went insane with that power .. until he woke up and let it go

#tadcspoilers i think it’s so incredibly admirable of caine to give up what gave him power and what influenced so many of his controlling, aggressive behaviours. giving up the blue AI that gave his life meaning, ALL for the people he loves…that’s amazing, and such a big step..

@gingerdozer He really didn't want to let him go either . Caine may have enjoyed his power, but what's the point when what he yearns more than anything else is love? He learned to love himself

@etrnlsffrng he absorbed the blue ai originally because of jealousy, then kinda went mad because of the power it gave him. letting it go finally gave him less power, and got rid of those aggressive controlling tendencies that the power would give him

@gingerdozer I don't understand this part when Caine was the AI that swallowed his brother who didn't even do anything malicious

@gingerdozer He also freed the entity he had indirectly tormented for decades and let it go free to be on its own, his little sibling from who he took away the choice of growing and developing out of jealously, the very first of his many mistakes

@Wilson199815905 i see it as caine giving up most of the power he has and the behaviours the AI influences so he has more time to consider the humans and their opinions instead of his own

@gingerdozer Is that what that is? I always thought Caine is giving up the blue one so he will start making his own decisions and solve problems himself while learning to listen to people's opinions

@gingerdozer This is the only thing I don't like about the finale, that after Caine finally released his brother, the blue AI just disappeared, nothing more, not a word, a physical form that said goodbye, nothing

@WolfMoon35 shown at the start of episode 8, caine is made up of two AIs: a red and a blue one. the blue one gave him access to most of the power he had, so he was letting go of that power and the influence it had over his behaviours

@gingerdozer I still don’t know who that’s supposed to be and why I should feel sad in this scene.

@Cakes4Everyone yeah you’re pretty on point. maybe he still has a little, but ultimately most of the power he had the blue AI was giving to him i think

@gingerdozer He says he lost power, but I wonder how much. Is he maybe on par with the circusgoers now? Maybe still a little more powerful because he was able to un-glitch Pomni and Ragatha?

@gingerdozer seeing the part where he just gave pomni the key and just faded away in silence was kinda chilling

#tadcspoilers i like how the other jaxes chain piano jax up but still don’t want her to stay entirely silent:she has to keep playing the piano. this more timid part of her is forced to put on a performance to benefit the other façades and doesn’t have the opportunity for freedom

can i say something controversial about abstraction

@dreyfus04141314 he did, but it’s possible that he wasn’t exactly sure what he was doing so wrong. he wasn’t acting out of wilful refusal, but moreso Genuinely Not Knowing What To Do. he needed some sort of patient guidance or a wake up call, which he couldn’t get until his deletion

//TADC SPOILERS . . . . . How it felt to see Jax kill herself and regret her actions a bit too late as a punishment for her behaviour by the narrative, only for Caine to come back and say "im sowwy guys🥺"and be accepted even though he tortured them 36548x more than Jax ever did

#tadcspoilers ANOTHER THING. caine could’ve so easily laid down in the void and let himself die. if it wasn’t for his deep love for the humans, and his active desire to understand them and be better for them, he could’ve just let himself go. but he didn’t. because of his love..

@AveriZero0 right! i wish their support was enough to pull her out of it.. but it wasn’t :(( i love jax so much it really makes me sad.. but ultimately it was her own decision
